Just giving an update (mostly for record keeping). Still working on my story. The title has gone from Double Edged to Twisted Fang. It will no longer be a comic series but a novel series. Very few things are the same since I last posted something related to the project. I am working with a cowriter who's one of my college buddies. Not going to be telling a whole lot about the novel, as a lot of things are still being worked out and I am doing a lot of studying on novel writing. Reading text books on the subject and reading a lot of fantasy novels. Once I get to a point in my studies where I feel like my cowriter and I can fully tackle our novel, we'll be updating more often here and the Facebook page for the series. 
Between this, work, and trying to get into law enforcement, progress is slow moving, but consistent. Not a single day goes by without thinking about the project at least once.
It will probably be a long time before the next update. Hopefully, I'll be getting back to art soon. I would like to focus more on painting landscapes and designing characters. It'd be cool if I'm able to illustrate the covers for the novel series.

I asked around the community what I should do to improve my drawing skills. Just about every one told me that I should do more observational drawings. I've been avoiding it because I thought it was hard, but no more. Starting now, I'll be spending my time going back to the basics that I never really went over (does that make sense?). Yep, going to working on the bare bones basics. I'm going to work hard so that I can be the best artist I can be.

The first volume of Double X Edged is finally drafted! Now I'm going to focus on improving my art skills until I'm satisfied enough to start storyboarding and illustrating. In the meantime, you can ask me anything about Double X Edged and I'll answer as least spoil-y as I can.

Been really busy with job applications lately. But I recently got myself a new Cintiq. I'm still trying to get used to it. I'm making real effort to script and concept my comic. There's a chance that I'll make a partnership deal with another artist. I don't know if he has an account on here. I'm trying to get some stuff ready to show him before this next weekend. If things work out and we are able to work well together, this comic may finally get off the ground. Wish me luck, guys!

Yep, I'm now curled up under my bed in a corner in my empty dorm room and crying uncontrollably. I need a hug.
